怀卡托理工学院（Waikato Institute of Technology，通称 Wintec）位于新西兰北岛第四大城市汉密尔顿（Hamilton），是怀卡托（Waikato）地区规模最大的公立高等职业教育机构。学校 1924 年以 Hamilton Technical College 之名创立，历经两次更名，2001 年定名为 Waikato Institute of Technology。

Wintec 在汉密尔顿设有三个校区：市中心的 City 校区、位于 Avalon 的 Rotokauri 校区，以及 Hamilton Gardens 园艺教学校区，并在泰晤士（Thames）与 Ōtorohanga 设有教学点与区域中心。学校每年为约 11,000 名学生提供 110 多门职业教育课程，覆盖证书、文凭、学士、研究生文凭与硕士各层次，主要学科方向包括商科与会计、工程与工业设计、信息技术、应用科学、护理与健康（含登记护士、助产、社工）、幼教、酒店与西厨、运动科学与人类表现、动物技术等，工程类课程在本地产业（如恒天然、Fisher & Paykel 等企业）有较强实习与就业衔接。

运营状态方面，Wintec 自 2020 年 4 月 1 日起并入 Te Pūkenga（后更名为 New Zealand Institute of Skills and Technology，NZIST）。按新西兰政府 2025 年 10 月通过的职业教育改革立法与 Tertiary Education Commission 公告，Wintec 是 2026 年 1 月 1 日首批脱离 NZIST、恢复为独立区域理工学院的十所院校之一。

Admission Requirements

入学要求

  • 学历门槛：按课程层次与国籍分别设定，Wintec 官网按国家列出国际学生的学历入学要求（International Academic Entry Requirements）。学士学位一般要求相当于新西兰 NCEA Level 3 并达到大学入学（含三科各 14 学分、Level 2 读写 10 学分、Level 1 数学 10 学分）；或完成 Level 4 及以上相关衔接课程；年满 20 岁且不符合一般入学要求者可申请特别录取（Special Admission），其他情况可申请酌情录取（Discretionary Admission），均由相关学术机构裁量。
  • 英语要求 — 衔接课程（Concurrent programmes）：IELTS 5.5，各单项不低于 5.0，或同等成绩。
  • 英语要求 — Level 4 及以下课程：IELTS 5.5，各单项不低于 5.0，或同等成绩。
  • 英语要求 — Level 5 至 Level 7 课程：IELTS 6.0，各单项不低于 5.5，或同等成绩。
  • 英语要求 — Level 8 及以上课程：IELTS 6.5，各单项不低于 6.0，或同等成绩。

  • 成绩有效性：所有英语测评成绩有效期为 2 年；部分课程因外部专业机构要求适用更高标准。
  • 其他要求：入学后须完成体检、无犯罪记录核查（部分健康类课程）等课程特定要求；所有国际学生必须自离境之日起至签证到期后一周内持有符合要求的医疗与旅行保险，并在入学确认前提交保险凭证。
  • 申请材料：填写完整的 International Application Form、经核证或公证的学历与成绩单、英语能力证明、护照；如通过代理递交，由代理转交学校。

How to Apply

院校申请

  1. 填写完整的 International Application Form（官网或代理处获取），逐项填写并在末尾签署声明。
  2. 准备并附上经核证或公证的支持文件（学历成绩单与毕业证书、英语能力证明、护照等）；通过代理申请者由代理转交 Wintec，直接申请者将材料发送至 international@wintec.ac.nz，或邮寄至 Student Enrolment and Information Centre（Private Bag 3036, Waikato Mail Centre, Hamilton 3240）。
  3. 学校评估后发出 Offer Letter。申请者签署 Offer 的接受页（Acceptance Page），勾选所有适用选项，回传至 international@wintec.ac.nz。
  4. 持 Offer Letter 向新西兰移民局申请学生签证（Approval in Principle）。
  5. 缴纳全部适用学费；学校在收到接受表、学费、移民局官员姓名与邮箱及签证申请编号后开具缴费收据（Fee Receipt）。
  6. 收到 Paid Offer Letter 与课程导引信息；如需住宿，须邮件通知国际住宿专员（international.accommodation@wintec.ac.nz）安排的住宿需求与行程。
  7. 抵达新西兰后到校完成注册（City 或 Rotokauri 校区的 Student Enrolment and Information Centre），并购买符合要求的医疗与旅行保险。
